Very disappointed! We visited on 27th July to celebrate our wedding anniversary after being recommended to this restaurant. We hadn't booked a table but thought that as it was a Wednesday evening at 6.40 it wouldn't be overly busy. We were shown to a table and ordered drinks. About ten minutes after this a waiter took our food order. After this we waited, and waited, and waited!! No food arrived. My husband queried how long the food would be and the waiter said he would find out. When he returned he said as we hadn't ordered starters the people who had would be served before us. He said he didn't know how long our order would take before we were served. So we paid our drinks bill and left. S...

Lovely meal however they need to leave you alone to eat it. They ask you too many times if you would like another drink although your glass is still half full. We must have been asked if we would like another drink 10 times. Instead of one person attending you numerous staff keep coming to your table. You also feel rushed. Will not stop us going however they need to think about how they manage their table service.

We went at 5.30pm today (saturday) and it was fairly quiet, so we were seated straight away. The decor is really nice. It is a large building so there is room between tables. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. We left at 7.30pm and it was getting busy, which shows how popular it is. We will definitely be back again soon.

we have eaten at some babar elephant, but that was by far the best, all four of us commented on served over the big food. Pity that they have closed the restaurant fence, which was very good and better from any reason than foulridge. the same menu, but not the same taste Reserva una mesa ahora

Not only is the atmosphere and service great but the curries are some of the best in Lancaster. It's reasonably priced and the sheer variety of dishes makes me go back again and again to try different dishes. Can't recommend it enough.

Fantastic place, very attentive and motivated staff. Decent portions and good quality ingredients. Certainly above average on the heat scale so I could just about cope with my madras but a jalfrezi would have been too much I think!

Staff friendly and very helpful. Food was delicious, only issue the food wasn't Hot enough in temperature. And staff where hanging around while we ate. Felt like we were being rushed to finish our meal.

A really lovely curry, and sundries...lots of flavor and the staff are excellent...it had been a long time since I'd been last but I will make sure we visit again soon Reserva una mesa ahora

Service very good, can't fault it. But taken back by the bill. We eat out regularly and won't call myself a skin flint, but have never paid so much for a meal before.

Great tasty food and really good value. Pleasant staff and lovely building.
