Babe's Chicken Dinner House

Been here a few times and this is by far the best fried chicken in DFW. You get three entrees with two endless sides, buttermilk biscuits, salad and can drink it down with delicious homemade sodas and sweet tea. Really can't beat it for the price too. The staff is great and the old style atmosphere of this place really makes the restaurant more enjoyable.

Love how it’s family style. However the chicken this time was lacking in FLAVOR. We’ve visited another location and the chicken had more flavor. Not sure if we got it on a bad day. However the food was good and hot. We would go again, and hope for better flavor. For $19 you get 4 pieces of chicken and bottomless sides.

Delicious Fried Chicken. Whenever I order from this location I usually get the fried chicken dinner well done or the chicken tenders well done with all of the sides. The friend chicken is battered perfectly and the creamed corn that is included is delicious

We have been to several of these. I was sad to learn this was the original. Not as many options as the others on both the protein and vegetables. We will always go to Babes when traveling with the grandchildren but probably not this particular one. Reserva una mesa ahora

Visited babes for the first time and it was delicious! I love the family style serving. We had chicken tenders, chicken fried steak, and fried chicken and it was all amazing. Sides were A+ and I can’t wait to go back.

It’s just like a normal babes. It’s just a little smaller and they don’t have a couple of normal menu items. No smoked chicken, no fried catfish and no green beans. Other than that delicious as usual.

I’ve been coming here since I was a teen! By far the best chicken tenders and biscuits ever! I love that they say “y’all have a blessed day” and sweet things when we leave!

Food as always was delicious. Service was great. We had a party of 15 and our server was very attentive.
