Having spent a year living in Taipei, I had high expectations for Baby Bao. Unfortunately, the gua bao here was disappointing and didn’t resemble the authentic version from Taiwan, being overloaded with hoisin sauce. The Taiwanese fried chicken also fell short, as it was overly seasoned. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Dinner for £10–20 per person.
So glad the original baby bao is back in the Pond. Pub was surprisingly empty on a Friday night but I was glad.aa.it meant quick access to the delicious baos....one chicken,.one pork one beef and loaded fries,.oh and some crispy chicken. Delicious.
