We placed our order shortly after we arrived at the restaurant. It was quite busy, but despite the crowds, the staff were very cheerful and welcoming. The food was tasty - we enjoyed the full English breakfast and the ham and cheese toastie. The weather was beautiful, so we decided to sit outside, which was lovely. The coffee was also delicious; we are coffee lovers and were pleased with the quality here. We want to give a special shoutout to Barbara, our server, who brought our daughter a coloring book and was sweet to her throughout our meal. She was a very kind lady.
Stopped off on the spur of the moment for a tea toast was so glad I did. Friendly, on-the-ball staff and really reasonable prices. I ordered a tea with oat milk and 2 slices of sourdough with plant butter marmite, and the total bill was £3.80. Just yesterday I got a tea in an un named cafe (ok it was the Flour Pot) where the tea alone was £3.20 (I did comment on the price and won’t be going back). So this was much more like it. I’ll definitely be coming back to Richard’s, next time for lunch. Recommend!
The atmosphere at this restaurant is great. I love the older lady who greets you at the door and the warm and friendly service. The food is delicious and caters to all tastes, including vegan options. The owner is nice and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. This is the best place for a good breakfast or brunch that won't break the bank. Thank you, Richards Cafe, for bringing a smile to the local community with your service!
Absolutely fantastic food,a warn welcoming atmosphere the food is par excellencé,the staff are always welcoming curtious. Today I tried eating,Avacado chicken bacon salad unfortunately I had to leave as I walked back into Cafe was about to leave my dinner one of the staff with a smile asked me, would I like a box to take my meal away gave me a box bag. If you like healthy food with an easy to read menu,Richards is for you.

I had a nice breakfast on my own at this place cozy and very welcoming near my house. I chose the great breakfast, as shown in the picture below, it was delicious and satiating. the personal on the front, consisting of girls were amazing and very professional, helps them to make themselves comfortable and enjoy the best time. I would have a different chance.
Smashed down a couple of cooked breakfasts (one veggie! and the waitress kindly offered to swap the tomato for an extra hash brown! Food all good quality and reasonably priced. Would love to go back to try one of their many, tasty looking sandwiches...
this place is so humble and has delicious food! there is a lovely older lady who works regularly here and she is always so inviting! I have no idea where she gets the energy, but she's adorable! I would literally buy them if they were sold themselves.
The restaurant offers a generous vegan breakfast and a variety of other tasty vegan options on the menu. The staff is very friendly and enjoys chatting with customers.
