Bacar Restaurant at Pullman

Nice restaurant if a bit noisy - Little Mix had a concert on that evening so a number of children/teenagers.We had checked the menu online and it looked good but once seated with the menu, the shared and Cut items had disappeared. We asked and were told the menu was an event menu and that we would have been advised of this by phone or email - we weren't. Apparently the event menu is on when there's an event at SOP; when isn't there?! So, off to a poor start and we chose other stuff form the menu.I'd salmon which was poached and almost tasteless, my wife had beef cheeks which she gave a pass mark to but would've preferred our steak.Sides were potatoes, good, and roasted cauliflower salad whic...

We went to Bacar restaurant at the Pullman hotel syd Olympic park today The food was sensational!!!I had hand made gnocchi with seasonal vegetables - not only did it look spectacular - it was delicious. My boys ordered the club sandwich which was also fantastic.The side of Chips ( who doesn't like chips ??) were amazing !!Hard to say some chips are better than others but these are .Drizzled with truffle oil and sprinkling of cheese Big statement but I think the best I ever had.I'll definitely be back

We had dinner on Saturday night before a show we had to attend at Qudos Bank Arena.The service was excellent and the staff were incredibly accommodating - our booking was originally for 6pm which is when they officially open, however when we explained that we needed to be at the show by 7pm and asked if it was possible to get an earlier start (just in case), they were happy to help us out.The food was exquisite!

The only 5 Star hotel/restaurant outside Sydney CBD. Really good food, great atmosphere and exceptional service!
