The display of cakes and breads and chocolates all made on the premises attracted us back for a light lunch after our walk around the pretty Alt Stadt of Unterssen across the river from main Interlaken. We shared a käsekuche - a cheese cake unlike the US variety and far far better with perfect light pastry base with a soft Swiss cheese filling ie a cheese tart. We also enjoyed a rice and curried chicken salad. It was fresh, light, full of flavour. And the lady who served us was helpful with my school boy German. A delightful light lunch. We took sticky gooey cakes and biscuits back to our hotel for a later tea. They were excellent too.
This little café/bakery is the finest in all of Switzerland, when ever we go to Interlaken, we make a point of going, they do a fantastic cheese flan (they call it cheesecake) and also a cheese and onion one too, and the vanilla slices are fantastic, whenever we go we halve the selection as its too much for one person. And they owners and staff are so helpful and friendly, so certainly go and sit by the river and have some food and a drink, and if its wet just go inside, oh and don't forget to try their own home made chocolates mmmmm
Found in passing this made a great lunch stop in this better part of town. By chance I ate what the last reviewer raved about. The tables and sitting area is compact, but food and service very good. The cheese flan went well with a...curried rice salad, then I took a vanilla slice back to the hotel. Seemed family run and open on Sunday also.

Typisches kleines Cafe mit leckeren Speisen. Aufmerksamer, freundlicher, herzlicher Service. Super leckere süsse, brotige, salzige und wohl schmeckende Confiserieartikel. Genialer Sonntagszopf, tolle Partybrote. Auch sehr empfehlenswert als Apero Catering für ein Fest!
Right beside the river, parking outside and in the beautiful area of Unterseen. Get here for the amazing bread and especially on a Sunday it's a special one. Have a latte macchiato and some cake. They also make a brilliant tuna sandwich! We love this place.
Ordered coffees, teas, and pastries and sat outside overlooking the river. Talked with locals who said this is one of the best konditoreis in the area. The apple strudel was delicious. Comfortable and pleasant seating, nice location!
we believed that when we were in the aarburg in interlaken. opens early at 7 o'clock, good coffee, excellent croissant chocolate! friendly staff, which also spoke English.

large local bakery with wonderful service. there is a small outside area. based on the customers when we were there, it seems to be a local favorite!
Absolutely beautiful fresh food. Second to none cleanliness and service. Every inch of this place exudes quality and attention to detail. Very classy
