I do not ever write reviews but, today was the last time I'll ever order from here. Their food is actually the best deli food in the area BUT, the way they handle orders/people is juvenile at best. I order food ahead using restaurants or deli's applications so I do not have to wait 20-30 mins on-line in store. I can just walk in, grab my food and go about my day. Nope, That logic and reason does not seem to apply to Bagel Cafe. I ordered 35 minutes ahead of pick up and was told I had to wait in the back of the line (Sometimes behind 30-40 people on school days but let's not go there) to grab my food that was already on the counter in a bag, paid for and ready to go. Such a disappointing way to start my day and year! Very rude and unprofessional staff. Could definitely tell I went on a day where the owner wasn’t there because not only did they three people behind the counter look insanely overwhelmed with the 3-4 people they were serving. Needless to say I will not be back because the food here is average AT BEST and I will happily drive an extra mile to get better food and a more accommodating staff. It’s too bad places like this have gone down hill so much recently.
The food is good here, However I have not had a good overall experience. I get charged different prices for the same items depending on who rings me up. They seem to make small mistakes all the time like forgetting cheese or forgetting home fries. I will be coming back but I'm definitely gonna have a conversation with the manager before I place my order. Thank you guys for reaching out and making it right. Excellent customer service.
I’ve loved this place for years and always say how they make the best breakfast sandwiches but I just had an order delivered on a rainy day and they put a plastic bag over the paper bag to keep it dry and protected. I just thought that was really thoughtful and considerate not a lot of places do that with deliveries. Thank you!
This place is great! The bagels are always fresh and they have really good whitefish salad. I also like The Mess which is 4 eggs, bacon, ham, sausage and cheese on a hero. The staff is very friendly and they work fast. I come here often and always have a great experience.
