PROS: Unique because its above a pretty cool Persian market. The wait staff were friendly and the food, while not presented well or prepared just right, seemed fresh. CONS: Food was dry, service took too long and was inconsistent. The noise level echoed (poor acoustics) and the lighting was poorly balanced. CONCLUSION: This restaurant needs an overhaul with design, lighting, proper training on customer service, food presentation and user experience.
Food and service were great and left me wanting more. That is a really good comment because I am picky about taste and the service I receive at restaurants. But Bahar had that part perfect. However, location and atmosphere detracted significantly. Felt like a side room to a supermarket- which is basically what it is. My thought upon leaving was “if they only had a better location and restaurant layout.”
This is a hidden gem. Great food and value. Large portions and wide range of dishes to try. The meat selection and vegan range is very good. Have some grape leaves as a starter. After your meal go into the supermarket for fresh bread, and wide range of meat.

For ethnic food it is ok but is trending toward the American palette;not a good idea for the purist. Good value for money, pleasant service and not overcrowded.
Very unique place with great and surprising food, need an open minded approach as sometimes it i not what you'd expect but taste great
kabobs are fantastic here. good service and super market right next door with super cheap trips. good quality authentic Persian food.
