Wonderful setting for the sunset and, on our night, there were fireworks down Hendaye way clearly visible. The place is bench table seating but ok and the staff, bit slow when it was busy, but very welcoming and friendly. Menu looked good and the mackerel...pate very good. The calamare was just thick slabs sliced and covered in breadcrumbs and deep fried with little to no taste and double the quantity necessary for a starter. The accompanying dip was unfathomable but may have been sweet chilli...’mains of very small and sweet mussels covered in Bayonne ham sauce which made the whole thing far too salty. Arrived at this fantastic beach bar restaurant and what a fabulous find! Perfect location with super ambiance along with fantastic food. The service was excellent, food preparation, quality and turnaround was second to none. The whole bill was very reasonably priced. We so enjoyed the...moules and the beef dishes. Great musical entertainment from the waiter if you do anything in your life please experience this place once... Planning a return trip when we are next Biarritz way.
beautifully outsighted, but destroyed by inattentive, rude waiter. not even a language problem, as we are fluent in French, but they really feel that they want the waiters through existing or ordering. Eat is terrible, too salty and cooked over. a personal training...”Love your customers” is recommended to find this place/owner a new cook. such a scandal with the beautiful view.
Had two lunches here with wife and son. It’s very busy but welcome was OK, and service fine. Not sure why there are some tough reviews below perhaps it changed hands, or maybe they just listened??? Anyway we thought food was very good and...atmosphere good fun. It’s a high quality beach chiringuito, as we say in Spain. About three. Location very cool indeed.

this beach restaurant was randomly guided along the coast. great location right above one of the smaller beaches at the rande of bidart, next to gethary. wonderful view. relaxed atmosphere. eating was excellently recommended, the serano mustels service. was efficient, but not particularly friendly. reasonable price. large meal for two for about euro
While the restaurant has relatively short menu, it can satisfy all choices. Friendly atmosphere. One of guests had a birthday, and restaurant service team made a nice small concert for him which all other guests enjoyed and applauded. Tasty and friendly!
We enjoyed delicious seafood (the Thai chicken was excellent too) while watching the surfers. The breeze was making the warmth bearable. Quick and smiling service, really worth the stop and walk down from Bidart center.
Go with your eyes closed! Food is great! Recommended tuna (so so good) and the thai meat! The service kind, fast and funny! Even if the price seems high- still the view, quality and a nice service is worth of visiting!

eat great, see them excellent. service efficient, but clean and cold. they would think they would be a little happier to be open only a few weeks after the conclusion!
