WARNING If this is your first time, DONT BOTHER! We ordered a take away which the staff member taking the order wasn’t familiar with the menu, and didn’t know what I was talking about. and when turning up early was made to feel uncomfortable and to come back in 20 minutes as he told us “40 minutes on the phone” with that I left, come back 20 minutes later food still not done. To get home to be given dog meat in a wrap and not tacos that I had asked for. When I called back and asked what happened to the taccos they explained it would be too messy which left me very confused max I’ve asked for taco not a lamb wrap. Wouldn’t waste my time or money ever again.
best Mexican food around! this is our 2nd visit here and must say that eating is not only exquisite, but also authentic. portion sizes are generous so it is best to become hungry. the big barbacoa lamb taco is hard to beat and I can't help order this every time I serve so delicious and always hot. it is a relatiw cheaper place to eat when considering the quality of the food. service is great, but not pushy, with the personal attentive and very friendly. would highly recommend a visit here whether it is for small groups or much larger parties. never felt more than very satisfied.
I don’t know why they get mixed feedback. We went to Bedford for our usual visit to Santaniello and for the first time ever is was so full they couldn’t take us. A quick wander got us to Bala and, surprise surprise we sat down to the best Mex meal we’ve ever had. Huge portions, wonderful fresh food packed with flavour, and friendly and attentive service. Congratulations Bala, we now have another reason for visiting Bedford!
only eaten twice, usually order over delivery and over eats. was not blown away by seeing them in the atmosphere to be honest. take way is a great winner! really beautiful Mexican cuisine and Mexican inspired food. beautiful and delicious and really good portion sizes. always a good feed!

Great food despite a slower service, due to the busy last teir 2 opening night I guess. They were patient and polite despite some pushy patrons... Outdoor seating area was adequately spaced out and covered. Good cocktails too.
I would give this restaurant a perfect 10 out of 10 for the best Mexican food I have ever had. I am thrilled to have discovered this place and will definitely be coming back more frequently.
We enjoyed a lovely meal here with friends. I can highly recommend the calamari to start, the lamb chops and the fajitas, followed by the amazing sundae to finish. Great mocktails too!
Sophie who served us was absolutely wonderful, attentive and chatty. Food was fantastic, wine even better. Can’t fault anything here and brilliant value for money

We had another fantastic takeaway this week. The barbacoa lamb taco and dirty fries were delicious as usual. I would also highly recommend trying the milkshakes.
We enjoyed a delicious family birthday meal here for a group of 10. The service was excellent and the food delicious as always
