The restaurant didn't seem as busy as I had anticipated for a holiday celebration. However, we ended up waiting 30 minutes at the bar for our reserved table. Our two glasses of red wine cost $18, yet the portions were quite small, maybe around 8 ounces each. We had to pay for our drinks at the bar before being seated, and although the bar wasn't overly crowded, it was challenging to get the bartender's attention. This less-than-ideal experience set a negative tone for the evening.

everything was bright and cheery looking. clean! friendly greeting/seating staff. Waitress, Kelly, was fantastic! Courteous, attentive.Went above and beyond to meet the needs of the table guests. Everyone was comfortable. There were 7 of us. The food was Gourmet all the way! hefty portions of perfectly cooked meats. Everything was served at the correct temperature, and/or correct doneness? is that even a word? One person would have preferred a different type of potato than the scalloped. There was praise for the pot roast. Tomatoe and goat cheese bisque, good! excellent selections to choose from for the different courses. and the desserts really ended the meal on a high note. After several visits to Bakersfield, this was the first time I experienced significant disappointment. Initially, they informed us that the lambing frame was unavailable, but later said it was. They also told us the prime rib was available, only to later say it wasn’t. I ordered dirty martinis, but they were served in small tumbler glasses, on ice, and without olives. After some feedback, they were remade (without ice) and served in proper martini glasses with olives. I plan to return because I believe this isn’t how Bakersfield usually operates.
the reservation went smoothly. Eating was excellent. we were disappointed that the dessert we wanted was sold out after 19 o'clock and there was no bread for the table. it was also outside. service was great we're sorry that the waiting staff had to explain that these items were not available.

High quality food. Options for all palates. Well executed and great presentation. On the holiday it was a bit busy, and service was a little slow, but it did not affect our ability to thoroughly enjoy the meal and the evening. The waiter and staff were gracious, and accomodating.
The reservation was confirmed, but the restaurant called this morning to inform us that they are closed indefinitely as the chef is working on revamping the menu.
Love the crispy chicken. Staff is wonderful and always very helpful. Be sure to come a bit early to take advantage of the 1/2 price appetizers.
I thought the entrees were very good and a nice selection. The side dishes could have been better with more selections and creativity.

We thoroughly enjoyed the entrees we tried. Enjoyed the 1/2 price appetizers on Sunday as well. Will go back
