It took them about five minutes to lock the doors after the second round of fighting. There was no apology or any reassurance from the waitstaff, leaving me with the impression that this is not a safe environment for anyone, especially families with young children or those who may not move quickly. I tried to speak with the manager, but they were unavailable and promised a callback that never came. To make matters worse, they couldn’t even cook my steak properly, and this is supposed to be a restaurant! The entire experience felt very chaotic and unsafe, with no regard for customer care. I definitely do not recommend this place!

We usually have wonderful experiences at Baldamar, but the Sunday buffet did not meet the high standards we've come to expect. The buffet area was too small for the number of diners, making it hard to navigate. Lines at the cooking stations were long, and there was no bread or crackers at the charcuterie board as promised. Additionally, the coffee was served lukewarm. The refresh rate for the buffet items was slow, resulting in unappetizing food. Our server seemed too busy to attend to even the basic needs of buffet dining. We won't be returning for the Sunday buffet.

The service from everyone, particularly our server Anna, was outstanding, even on a busy night. The steaks were excellent, and most of the sides were quite good. However, the mushrooms could have been cooked a bit longer, and I wasn't a fan of the current version of the calamari appetizer. The potatoes and broccolini were delicious, and the chocolate cake was wonderful. Once again, we came for the steaks and service, and we were thrilled with both.

The food was mediocre at best, lacking flavor. The pasta sauce was bland, the salad was sparse with ingredients, and the prime rib was served rare when I had requested it medium—essentially just a raw piece. Delicious and outstanding food! This restaurant is truly exceptional, with friendly and accommodating staff. It’s a must-visit when you’re in Roseville, MN. I would give it 6 stars, even 10 if I could! It’s simply the BEST! You won’t be disappointed!

I always look forward to an opportunity to eat at Baldamar. It's expensive and special but for important occasions or a well deserved treat it's a grand experience.

Baldamar's food was excellent. The shrimp and bread appetizers were a real treat! All of our main courses were also delicious!
