Our first visit today. The food was very good. To begin with, nicely prepared vegetable spring rolls with a tasteful sauce. Our entrees were a mixed vegetable dish with a very nice light sauce and a tofu with asparagus dish, with a very nice sauce. It's all beautifully presented. We'd rather have been sitting in the main restaurant, but with a light patronage was asked to sit in the bar area tonight. A little loud, but things were quiet. Our server was very professional. Dining area (incl. bar area) very clean and pleasant. Things were a little slow; not clear when that was because it was just the one primary server or when the kitchen was underused. I love this place! The service is very friendly and the food is excellent. I come here with my family all the time, but it would also make a good place for a date or meet for a happy hour (they offers are in the happy hour, especially the two big caught beers for $5). If you like pho (Vietnamese noodle soup with lemongrass broth), they do a great for about $8 for a huge bowl and they are happy that you have shared. But I would suggest you order beef with roasted potatoes. It is an unusual dish to find in American Vietnamese restaurants and traditionally in the south of Vietnam. A bit related to Poutine, it's my favorite dish to go with my happy hour IPAs.
Fresh ingredients without the sticky, sugary sauces. I recommend the crab asparagus soup that has an egg drop base in clear broth. It's just delicious! Cheese dolls were also full of taste, but not additives. The food is served hot and made to order. The staff is warm and welcoming and the restaurant is clean.
Absolutely delicious food at great prices. Very nice waitress and a nice and cozy location in downtown White Bear Lake. You have selection drinks and delicious food. You can get sharp iron regularly as you like it. I recommend this place to anyone who has good taste buds.
