Consistently delicious high quality food with good prices and large portions. I like the goat the most, lamb #2, but I've tried all the lunch/dinner options and they're all excellent. All dinner/lunch options have the same sides. The only difference is price and protein. The proteins have consistently been tender and well spiced. I'm used to spicy food, so this doesn't bother me at all, but those averse to even low level of spiciness may find it spicy or may want to ask to tone down the scoville level. During our trip to California we had the chance to check out this gem. Banadir restaurant was such a great experience. The food was incredible! so good that we forgot to add the moos iyo basbaas lol that's when you know its bomb. The staff were supper kind and accommodating. I can't wait to come back and eat here. 10/10

The food here was 10/10 if you want authentic Somali food this is the place for you! The owner is very kind and very welcoming. If you’re new to Somali food I recommend trying the rice with chicken steak and fish with everything on it. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really great food. Huge portions. Very flavorful. Came with entree, soup, really good tea, water bottle and a banana. Hole in the wall which is a good thing. Me n my husband love 2 eat here, good food,soup,tea very friendly, love the big screen t.v. prices are reasonable, small but cosey and at times that's the best 4 me
