Been going to fish bar for over 40yrs,never had a better fish n chips, I also like the battered burgers.Nick and Jimmy are ol friends since they were kids,always have a good banter with them, they are so friendly with all there customers. Will keep going there till the end of mydays.Oh forgot its the best chippy in Banbury.
I dined in and received a very small piece of haddock. I didn't request a small portion, it was just given to me. I paid around £9 for the dish, which came with chips. The portion size was underwhelming. Next time, I may just opt for takeout in hopes of receiving a more generous portion size.
5. This restaurant is a hidden gem tucked away on a side street. The staff were extremely helpful and the premises were spotlessly clean. The freshly cooked fish and chips were delicious, with generous portions and high quality ingredients. They also serve a large, well-made mug of tea.

Great fish and chip shop with staff who care about the service they give. Tasty fish, good chips: I've tried many things from the menu and so far all excellent. Service here is as good as the food. Good value too. Top stuff!
This is my go to place for fish and chips eaten either in or outside. The people there are very pleasant and they are always busy understandably! They do mushy peas from heaven and I would highly recommend it.
We go to see jimmy and his wonderful staff regularly and we wouldn’t go anywhere else for our fish and chips the staff are always happy and the atmosphere is always great and the food is always amazing

"Visited for lunch today after a tour of Hook Norton Brewery food was excellent and lovely friendly service. We were celebrating a friends 60th and they kindly decorated a plate with chocolate Happy Birthday and put a candle in his dessert. Would highly recommend!"
