Bangkok Thai Cuisine

Food is fine. Prices are absolutely outrageous. I got 2 vegetarian entrees and it cost me $38.90. Why should anyone have to pay that? Particularly considering there was no meat whatsoever. I asked to talk to a manager or owner and was told they're hardly ever there, maybe once per week. This place USED TO BE great. I could bring my whole family and pay about $50. Now, taking just my son is almost $40. An incredible rip off and, apparently, no one available to talk to an upset customer. What a joke! I've been here twice. On both occasions, I started with the Tom Yum Kung (shrimp hot and sour soup). On the first occasion, I had the hot basil with chicken and jasmine rice (gai pad krakow) off of the lunch menu while my companion had the pad thai. Both were delicious. On the second occasion, I had the green chicken curry with brown rice, which was also quite good. A word to the uninitiated: this restaurant's 1-5 spice system packs a lot of heat. I love it, but I'd suggest even fans of heat start with no more than a 3 level on your first visit. Love this spot. Hubby and I stopped by for lunch to cool off from the heat. What really made us go in, however, was the group of Buddhist Monks eating lunch inside! We were just drawn to them. This is a very clean and customer friendly spot. Our waitress greeted us with a wonderful smile and quickly seated us. They weren't too busy (but should be! . Our waitress was very attentive and super pleasant. We have dietary restrictions and she was able to accommodate our needs seamlessly and suggested alternatives the kitchen could do for us without compromising the dish. Food was wonderful and clean. Those Thai flavors were definitely there! Would love to go back again.

Take out order process was simple, however, you still have to pay in person. Tofu pad Thai and chicken&shrimp pad Thai, 2 entrees, totaled $42.69. Very expensive take out. The tofu could have used more flavor, and once I ate the veggies on top, 95% of the remainder were noodles. Which were tasty but for this price, there should have been way more veggies. Got seated right away with a cute interior and staff are super friendly. We started off with the wings and gyoza. Wings were decent size and good taste on the dry side. The gyoza was too fried so it was just really crunchy! I had the yellow curry with chicken and had to add rice. The flavor was great but the curry was on the water side.

I used to get their food all the time when I worked in Plymouth. I moved to Boston two years ago and still haven’t found thai food as much as Bangkok Thai. Wish they had a location closer to me. Seriously, the best on the south shore.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. We enjoyed the extraordinary vibes and the meals. The staff were super amiable. I’m happy we eventually managed to try this restaurant.

Too good to resist flavors. Spicy fried rice. Ask for no sugar in the fried rice to make it spicy. Deliciousness in every bite. They don't take a few cards for payment, check before. Reserva una mesa ahora
