Thailänder Restaurantdrachenhöhle

The restaurant is located in Bad Godesberg in a calm street. Parking is sparse in front of the restaurant but there is covered parking garage of the nearby cinema. The interior is functionally furnished with a lot pictures of the Thai royal family. We had a platter with mixed starters which was good. The Tom Yam Gung was good too. The main dishes were a little disappointing. I had duck with coconut and green curry which lacked of taste, I had better duck especially in Thailand. The main course of my friend was lacking of taste too. The boss, a German from the Eifel, married to a Thai lady which is running the kitchen, is a very friendly and kind man. But he should have asked about if the food had a good taste, though.

This is not the cheapest Thai restaurant in Bonn, but the decor is tasteful (which cannot be said of many Asian restaurants in the area) and the food, probably as close to authentic as I can get in the city. Service is always efficient and courteous. I've never been turned away for showing up without a reservation, but if you plan to eat there in the weekend, it might be safer to call in advance. They also seem to do brisk business in Thai takeaway.

Nice small restaurant with very good and authentic Thai-kitchen. Dishes are rather large, however the prices for the dishes are also at the upper end compared to other regular Thai restaurants.

Great food, great place although its a bit expensive as compared to other thai restaurants in Bonn. The behavior of the staff who served us was also good. Really liked the food.

great Thai food. was quite authentic. calm atmosphere. the service is missing and if that is important, I simply felt that they have too little staff on a Friday night. .
