Banh Mi Express

This place is awesome, the pork banh mi is to die for. You will be asked if you want it spicy, I recommend YES! Go with spicy, it's delicious. It isn't too hot, just a nice tingle on the tongue that rounds out the taste...experience. Banh mi is a really interesting dish that is like no other sandwich but damn so delicious. It's not like other asian foods that I find are fiddly and unsatisfying. A single banh mi sandwich will fill you up! I swear I could eat these for lunch the rest of my life and never get bored! This is one of those businesses that I hope will stick around for a long time. The only downside to this place is that the hours are a little unpredictable and they tend to close early. I really wish they'd open later as I tend to want to eat late, but they usually close at around Come early to avoid disappointment, and call ahead to make sure they know you're coming so they don't close early. Unfortunately Richmond row can get really quiet in the evenings so many store owners just give up and close for the night and banh mi express is no exception to this

This place doesn't stick to its posted hours. Checked the hours online and saw that it's open from from Monday-Saturday. Drove all the way there to discover that it was closed, despite the "open" sign being on and the hours posted on the door...were the same as online. Waited for minutes and it was still closed. This is the second time that this has happened. Very unreliable service

I am often suspicious of banh mi, not for religious reasons or anything but because I much prefer a long bubble bath. But this banh mi doesn't do that! It is both malleable and sanguine. I also very much enjoy the counterman, who offers just...the right amalgam of sass and conviviality. My moustaches twirl to you, fine sirs

I ordered a pork banh mi and it was wonderful. It wasn't the same as the banh mi I ate growing up in Vietnam but they got all the flavours right. The pork tasted amazing. The service was lovely, the lady chef is the sweetest....I highly recommend this place

Best place in London Richmond street area for sushi. The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable. Been here several times
