Although half of the tables were occupied, the owner, James, promptly seated us and provided us with a simple menu. I initially intended to order the vegan option due to my gout but James wisely suggested we try the fish instead. We decided to go with his recommendation, and when the dish arrived, it was massive! Alongside it came a generous plastic bag of greens, with James instructing us to wrap the fish and dip it in fish sauce. He also suggested that, if I liked spice, I could add Sriracha or chili sauce right into the fish sauce. I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of that before; what a brilliant idea! The flavors were incredible—it's hard to understand how James packed so much taste into...

I found this place from a Google review! I had to try the crispy fried crepe they are known for. When I stepped in I was greeted by one of the owners, a woman, who asked me if I'd been there before. I told her that it was my first time. She informed me that they are famous for the Banh Xeo, which are the fried crepes. I ordered the first one on the menu, which comes with shrimp, pork, mushrooms, beansprouts, eggs and onion all sautéed into what looks like an omelette; the crunchy crust is colored by the turmeric. She told me the proper way to eat them: you eat them with your hands. Start with a leaf of lettuce, add some mint leaves, then some of the banh xeo, then some vinegar sauce. If you...

The wife had been wanting to try this place, famous for the Vietnamese crepe. Small, quaint (but in desperate need of updating) restaurant. Owner came out with menu, very limited menu... maybe less than 8 items? I asked what 's good and he responded menu so small, everything good! ..... fair enough. I 've heard Gordon Ramsay mention something similar on his shows before. There were several photos of famous people that had visited. Anywho, we ordered the crepe and the duck soup, both were very good. Crepe is huge and somewhat messy to eat but delicious. I will probably go back 1 day when I 'm in the area but I wish they would make it a little more inviting.

As the name of the restaurant indicates, you should 100% order the Banh Xeo. The Banh Xeo here is delicious!!! Crispy, crunchy crepe filled with fried shrimp, pork, mushrooms, onion, and plenty of bean sprouts! The dipping fish sauce perfectly complements the Banh Xeo after you have wrapped it in lettuce. Great service and we could hear the sizzling of the batter hitting the pan to make our crepe after we ordered. Came for lunch because they close at 3PM. Highly recommend checking this place out if you are craving an authentic Vietnamese classic executed perfectly well!

Don't run! Have the pig and shrimp banh xeo and the owners and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The crepe was crispy and we ate it in the box in our car. Wow! I had this court in many places in OC and SGV and this is great, and not to miss one. Also this business is completely the type you want to support. Good people deserve our support!!! Plus incredible food, so cm! A few years ago, they shot a Steve Carrell movie here, and the owner told us great stories about him. If they're not busy, maybe she'll share the stories with you?

I only came here to try the banh xeo because friends who live in the area told me about this place. I must say this restaurant makes the best BX in town and better than any places down in Orange County. The crush is just perfect and crunchy. Everything is just right but not enough meat in my opinion. I would go here weekly if I live close by, sadly I am too far. They put the togo order in the small pizza box and the veggies are in a clear plastic bag which is so clever. For togo only you can buy 4 for $52.

Menu here is not as big as other Vietnamese restaurants but what they serve is quite good. Crispy pancakes are very good and also the hotpot set served on a gel burner is a good deal. A portion of herbs and vegetables for making wraps are provided for each dish. Owner is very friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes.

Quality food and service ! Such a welcoming and cozy environment. Staff is kind and attentive. We had their signature savory crepe , tomato rice hen and their duck egg noodle soup. So satisfying, tasty and refreshing. I love their ice,I feel like it compliments the drinks. Must go to in SGV . Hidden Gem .

This is a hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant that specializes in bánh xèo (Vietnamese crepe). Their menu is limited and I have not tried anything else except the bx. It is so good and so crunchy. And I like to wrap it in the lettuce and dip it in the fish sauce yummy!
