Although half of the tables were occupied, the owner, James, promptly seated us and provided us with a simple menu. I initially intended to order the vegan option due to my gout but James wisely suggested we try the fish instead. We decided to go with his recommendation, and when the dish arrived, it was massive! Alongside it came a generous plastic bag of greens, with James instructing us to wrap the fish and dip it in fish sauce. He also suggested that, if I liked spice, I could add Sriracha or chili sauce right into the fish sauce. I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of that before; what a brilliant idea! This hidden gem is my top choice for banh xeo outside of Little Saigon and Vietnam. The cozy space accommodates only two parties at a time, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of being in your Vietnamese grandmother's kitchen. The banh xeo is prepared fresh to order, with both meatless options available. It's served hot and crispy, generously filled with ingredients. They certainly don’t hold back on the vegetables and herbs, and you can request extra if you’d like. The flavors and textures are spot on. It’s easy to see why this place has such a loyal following among locals.

Don't run! have the faint and garnel banh xeo and the owners and the staff were so friendly and helpful. the crepe was crispy and we ate it in the box in our car. wow! I had this court at many places in oc and sgw and this is great, and not to miss one. also this business is totally the type they want to support. good people deserve our support! plus incredible eating, so cmon! a few years ago they turned a steve carrell movie here, and the owner told us some great stories about him. If they are not busy, will they also share the layers with them?

Been to the place three times. 1st was to try, 2nd to validate, and 3rd was because I couldn't resist. Hell yeah! The banh xeo is fantastic!!! The nuc mam is awesome. The fact that they can have the banh xeo light and crunchy is a feat. I've tried to replicate but failed to duplicate. It's a place you can expect to fill your belly and walk out jolly. The famous crepe was very very crispy and combination of bean sprouts, shrimp and pork along with fresh fragrant herbs and sweet sauce was very delicious! The gentleman who served the food and the lady who greeted were so friendly and kind. Small place with limited dining but the whole vibe felt like we were transported to Asia : Want to try their new item, duck porridge, next time!

menu here is not as big as other Vietnamese restaurants, but what they use is quite good. crispy pancakes are very good and also the hotpot set served on a gel burner is a good thing. for each dish is provided a part of crimp and vegetables for the production of envelopes. owner is very friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes.

I stole my mom for lunch and it was a lot of fun. eating is so different from everything else in los angeles. I had the dry nude plate and she had the crepe. I'll be back in a definitiw! I hope this place never closes or moves. in restaurant, thanks and we wish you a happy 2022!

best banh xeo in the city! omg huge banh xeo. I thought I couldn't finish anything, but it was so delicious I finished in 5 minutes. I love banh xeo and this is one of my best places. I'll be back with my family. many thanks for good eating Reserva una mesa ahora

Banh Xeo Special... Get 4 for only $46. The banh Xeo here has a really nice skin, but I've never had it made with mushrooms. It's not bad, just different.
