Baodao Taiwanese Kitchen

I haven't been to this restaurant in a while and noticed that the menu has changed slightly. However, I was happy to see that the classic noodle soups are still on offer. I ordered the beef combination noodle soup and was pleased to find plenty of beef, tripe, and brisket in the soup. The meats were all tender and flavorful, and the broth was delicious. The portion was so generous that I couldn't finish all of the noodles. The tofu on the side was decent, but I would have preferred it to be softer.

It's a cute little place with beautiful lanterns hanging off the ceiling. Staff are super nice and friendly. We had the baodao beef noodle soup and the wonton noodle soup. The broth in the beef noodle soup was amazing and the wonton noodle soup's broth was good but not as flavoursome as the former. The wontons were delicious though. Noodles were good too. We came out of there satisfied; it was exactly what we needed on a cold winter evening.

I tried the Green Tea Wheel Cake and it was excellent. I couldn't resist getting one from their food stall as I walked past. The piping hot green tea flavored custard inside a warm crispy pancake batter was fantastic. It was very flavorful and a lovely treat on a cold, windy day. I am eager to try their other flavors as well.

We had a quick lunch here, good lunch deals with reasonable portions. Tasty Taiwanese food! Quick service. The restaurant isn’t too very big but enough seating for small groups or individuals. The stewed pork belly with rice was delicious along with the sides.

I ordered the signature dumplings and they were made fresh and delicious! I also really enjoyed the fresh soymilk. The casual ambiance at this restaurant was impressive and it's a great spot for lunch.
