The Oaks Hotel - Reserva de mesa

It was quite pleasant sitting under the fairy light-lit oak tree. We ordered burgers and beers. We enjoyed the beers, atmosphere and setting more than the burgers, which we thought were average. Kudos to the guys who clear and clean the tables. That's a large and crowded area and yet they were friendly and efficient. We'd probably return just for drinks.

The Oaks is a fabulous venue and business is business.....fully understood... but the prices for drinks and food are way way too expensive. The only beneficiaries of those chunky prices at The Oaks are the local restaurants who have geared their prices to take benefit of The Oaks "5 star prices" - the reality is it is a pub and not the Savoy.

The biggest attraction of The Oaks Hotel is this big tree. I stayed in Sydney, Australia for 4 days on a trip, but visited 3 times. It's a fashionable bar with big trees, but it's also great for a quick drink. A wide variety of beer taps. You can drink a lot of craft beer that can only be drunk in Australia. A nice bar to definitely go to.

You can cook your own steak if you wish... Make sure you sit outside under the big oak that is lit up a night. the food is fantastic the only drawback is that you have to get up to order and collect the food but this is just a small iritant. Reserva una mesa ahora

Having moved office into the area I made sure to have lunch here. The bruschetta is my kind of garlic spiced! The legendary oak tree at night is magical. The summer drinks range was fantastic.

My old local revisited after being away for 37 years. Still has great oysters and steaks cooked to perfection. For a sunny lunch sit in the beer garden and relax under the oak tree.

We had a group of 12 on a Wednesday night and all meals were presented well and no complaints on serving size or taste. Nice pub atmosphere with a friendly feel to it.

Great food great concept, different is good in my opinion. They are a bit sticky about their drinks as they are under the restricted area. Still worth it.
