Bar a Vin Le Coupil

We went here for an afternoon wine, but stayed for dinner. They have excellent tapas here. Lots of choices with good cheeses and charcutterie but also soups, sandwiches, salads and lots of things we did not try. Its amazing that it comes from such a small kitchen (in fact you could not call it a kitchen, its a tiny space behind the bar). Its a very busy/ popular place (lots of local people and some tourists), but the service was very good, they took the time to explain the menu and to advise on the wines. After our first visit we returned on several occations during our holiday in Ribeauville.

We were sitting outside in front of the restaurant, with a great view to the Main Street. We had four different glasses of white wine and tree tapas. All very tasty and well prepared.

An overdue review of this pubOrdered the tomahawk steak medium rare, came to 45 minutes later in well done.
