I have had Fruit De Mare platters all,over the world, but nothing compares to one served to my husband and I. It was a fully cooked hot platter in a delicious garlic oil. Whole lobster, whole spiney lobster, mussels, clams, huge prawns and queen scallops. Served on a bed of salad with tasty sauté potatoes and grilled peppers and bread. We had a dozen plump oysters to start with and a very acceptable bottle of house white wine. The staff were patient, friendly and helpful and kept us topped up with water when asked, nice to see it brought automatically to the table at the beginning. It was all so good we went back two days running.
We usually have our breakfast here when visiting Collioure. The "petite dejeuner" is not so petite, has a tender sweet crepe' too. Get the "English breakfast" and an omelet is added. We enjoy the friendly service from Jean-Pierre and Eric, who remember us from previous visits. We often stop here for a beer to cool off after walking the town. The other night we had Mojitos there, normally I do not care for this cocktail, but these were excellent. They have made a new covered seating area that is very nice and would be cozy in the winter. All around great place.
Small restaurant where you can sit outside in a "greenhouse" which keeps the wind away and watch the world go by. Specialises in Breton food which means you can have a large Galette as part of the menu du jour. After the prawn and tomato starter you'll be getting full for not much money. Finish up with their excellent home made ice cream. Wine en pichet not bad and cheap if you buy by the litre.
Collioure is a jam-packed tourist village so expectations were not high for a good lunch. We were quickly disabused of that thought, however, and found ourselves enjoying an excellent meal. The portions are generous and prepared with care. Prices are reasonable and service is friendly and attentive. An added bonus was the people watching opportunity as we dined outside.

Our favourite spot for friendly service and people-watching. Ideally located to catch the tide of visitors and muse upon the variations of the human race (and dogs!) over a pitcher of local wine. The new dining "cabin" is excellent; wind and water tight but with sliding panels and an adjustable roof to keep the elements under control. Excellent value.
We loved this bar! Great for sitting outside people (and dog) watching early evening before going for a meal. We went 4 or 5 times when we were there for wine (around 9 euros for a 50cl carafe), but never had a meal there. Great service and great view of the castle.
It was windy when we went for lunch, but from here, sitting in their outside terrace, you could see the beach and be protected. We really enjoyed the gallette, and moules with foies sauce.
A relatively small menu but all that is needed. Great location opposite the sea. The food was fine and drinks welcome with good service.

We had a beautifully presented and delicious meal for less than 13 Euros eachand with wine for 4 people the total was 84.
Really nice mealEverything in Collioure is relatively pricey, but these guys do a nice job for the money.
