This is an update. As of 10/5/22 my wife and i will no longer be coming to bareburger. The last time we came the food was sub par. This time it was truly ridiculous. The lettuce wrap was wilted. The french fries are cold. No more buffalo blue sandwich. The double patties on the burger is no good. The service was terrible and ridiculously slow and unpleasant. The staff offered no response or anything. Just handed my wife the food and walked away. Also the new remodel is unknown. I have been going to bareburger since day one in Astoria. I am friends wth the founders as well. The menu has completely changed. My wife is on the phone and she never complains. The food is mediocre at best. Ingredie...
Burgers were good. Sides and sauces were good too but the manager and service is below the average. Our female server was awesome everything started well but while we were eating her shift ended and then the female manager or owner took over she didn't bother to check on any customers . Her attitude wasn't pleasant she just stayed in the bar are without caring about the customers. Very rude and careless. Literally my husband had to get up and go to the bar to say can you please charge us at least so we can leave. There was No apology for the negligence. Simply rude and unprofessional. Ruining a great business. BTW Still my husband left the generous tip. I hope the server got something.
We’ll I’ve loved hamburgers for a long time and have had one in upstate Ny that was by far the best I’ve ever had. After trying a lot of places my friend said to try it. And I just left with my son. All I can Say it’s now the second best burger I’ve ever had!! And I’m a picky person when it comes to my food. We’ll Bareburger is def worth it and I’m so happy to come here again and again! Also the wings were on point and the fries was good. The staff was very friendly but all and all I would give it a ten if I could! Thank you for having a great burger place in Long Island.
I ordered a burger with a lettuce bun. The burger came with 4 pieces of small lettuce thrown on it. Where I couldn’t pick it up. I’ve had lettuce buns else where and they give u numerous LARGE pieces to actually hold the burger. Not four tiny pieces of romaine that can’t even wrap a French fry in. The other burger bun was so soggy half of it fell off when it was taken out. Along with the chicky club. Fries were soggy. For 130$ worth in burgers for 4 ppl I expecting a little more. Not the first time this has happened. . Definitely the last time ordering though !

2022 Previously had different choices of meat like elk and boar, now replaced with plant based foods (like beyond burger type) and their unique onion rings gone. I went in a few times recently but left before even sitting down. Workers can't be bothered to greet you, seat you or approach you if you seat yourself. Bartenders also don;t seem to acknowledge your standing right in front of them. Very strange vibe. This place should be out of business already! It will be soon I'm sure because it's a service industry but I don't think they don't know that.
It is an Ok burger. If you want to sit down inside for a burger it is a good location. The burger meat I ate was a bit dry and the avocado on top was not ripe at all, it was completely firm flesh. That may cause stomach pain for some who eat it. So the quality isn't the best. For the price point I would typically expect better quality but it wasn't terrible. Honestly probably won't come back if I have other options, but if I am desperate or someone wants to meet up there I would still eat at this location.
Service is meh, I remember when the restrictions first ended and the service was amazing. I literally walked in and had to seat myself at the bar to get service. Ordered a bear while I waited for my food but no follow up. I This style of interaction with others…still waiting on food so the only picture is my beer. If you have time I definitely recommend the food at least one try! no hard feelings just being honest!
Great 1st time experience at this Syosset location. Camila P was awesome. Her fellow staff was also friendly and asked how everything was throughout the time eating there. Great that they also give a discount to educators, librarian, veterans, firefighters, ems, law enforcement and AARP members.

It is a good place to visit with friends and family. I enjoyed my meal and beat of all the shakes are awesome!!
So many kinds of meat/alt-meats! filling food. a bit cramped-feeling especially if crowded. cool location
