first, their vegan menu is much more extensive than what they post online. I post a few pictures of the menu. secondly, their vegan options are displayed prominently. it is the kind of place where they only order from the theke, then sit down or take it to go. no real service in the house. her bathroom was in construction while we were there, but they would offer the kitchen bath if they really needed it. we got the beyond of sausage, pfeffer and wobbly pizza with violife cheese. the pizza lasted 40 minutes. we have the whole crawling crust, so it takes longer in the regular. the pizza came without the paprika and swirling so that it added it that lasted another 10-15 minutes. not happy with...
I couldn't believe it when I found this pizzeria in si that offers such an extensive vegan/vegetarian options. besides vegan pizzas they also had wraps, panini, sand pants, burger, bowls! vegan options in si can be found like striking gold. they even had vegan cheese! I often had to add my own when I try to veganize a dish. I had the grilled eggplant with paprika wobble and vegan cheese on a hero hubby had the grilled vegetables w tofu vegan cheese. they were so good! my only complicity is that they have burned or burned the veggies too much. Staying in one of the staten island hotels and looking for delivery? DONT ORDER FROM HERE! Took 1hr 40min and was delivered cold and soggy (2 pizzas and a sandwich). The tossed salad was just lettuce. No other vegetables. Order of large fries was missing and I was told if they brought it to me I would be charged again for it! Or I could get store credit for next time (I am from out of state staying at a hotel so he does that help The girl on the phone would not let me speak to a manager.
They have expanded from offering just pizza with vegan cheese, to a whole vegan menu printed on full-color shiny paper and everything! So far I have had (all vegan a Grandma Pizza Pie, Penne Marinara with eggplant, tofu ravioli marinara, vegan mozzarella sticks, sauteed asparagus; everything has been great! I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. For full disclosure I have also tried the spinach in garlic and oil, but it was not awesome. Highly recommend.
the service was very excellent and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. they use VioLife cheese that I like much better than days or go veggie. if they are looking for good new york pizza and it is vegan, this is their place. this is closer to the mall. my pizza was in ca. 15 minutes on my table. I would rate it 5 stars, but happy core reserves that are only available for vegan or vegetarian restaurants.
I am new to the vegan lifestyle and was thrilled to find out a local restaurant is now serving delicious food I can eat. The wait staff has been really nice (I've been here about eight or nine times already and the vegan food choices are great. I got a delicious vegan pizza and Bario's owner Mario came out to say hello. I would highly recommend checking it out.

Finally a choice and not just sides! Loved their vegan food. The mozzarella sticks are huge. Do not attempt to eat this alone. All their food is great. However I am not a fan of the fake cheese. So I’ll order my wraps next time without the cheese. Food was well made and tasted great. Updated from previous review on 2019-02-09
I was skeptical but the excitement of vegan options FINALLY on Staten Island got the best of me.......and I don’t regret it! The cheese sticks are HUGE and sooo melty! The pizza was delicious. The gluten free pizza was really good too.
