Where do I begin... First time here, experience was horrible as soon as we sat down. Our waiter was discombobulated, forgetful and sloppy. Our table was shaky, we asked for him to fix it 2 times, we ordered beers that came in bottle and I asked for glasses 2 times. 30 min pass by, he walked over to us 2 times in meantime and didn't address either of the requests. Eventually when the beers were already done he came over and asked if we wanted glasses. Moving on, he brought a coconut shrimp appetizer, which was not what we ordered. We ordered coconut shrimp roll. But that's not even the worst of it, when he brought it over slightly out of breath he had a long, icicle like snot hanging from his...

I finally went to this restaurant after moving into the area six years ago. I was hesitant because of what I saw leaving and entering this place. I made reservations, which was very easy to do. I went for my birthday, with my wife. We were immediately seated and offered refreshments, with the menus. We were the only customers in the restaurant at the time of being seated. We ordered soup , salad, and hibachi steak and fried rice. After another family was seated at our table they took our orders and the show started. The food was at the right temp. and it was fresh. Family oriented restaurant and yes there seems to be 2 types of seating.1. General seating for regular meals not Hibachi.2. Hibachi cooking where the chefs cook in front of you.Other notes:a. Please specify if you have a food allergy so they can good your meal separately.*b. Some chefs need to learn how to steak properly. Such as if someone wants a rare vs medium well steak.c. Great place to have dinner! I ordered the scallops and chicken--delicious. I absolutely loved that they used extra garlic to the fried rice, if made it extra flavorful. The vibe is very energetic and our hibachi chef made our experience even more fun. They also do something special for birthdays, that being said though, don't tell them it's your birthday if your shy because you'll be embarrassed. They turn off the lights and have a mini light show if you will. It's super fun. Try it.
The waiter John was the best changed my whole experience !!! Came on a Saturday busy night and our original waiter barely came around , food took longer than expected. John was the only one making sure we were okay and had what we needed but also gave us extremities such as ice cream that came with with our food. He did everything with a smile and had unbelievable customer service skills.
It’s been a few years since I’ve been at Arirang and it was just as good, if not better, than I remembered. Food is always delicious, service was phenomenal, my daughter had a great time. Adam, our chef, was awesome and our waiter John went above and beyond to make a birthday we were celebrating extra special.
We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Makhi and Affa were both fantastic. Even though Makhi was assigned to the tables, he was incredibly dedicated and assisted us right away. He definitely has the qualities of a great waiter!

Absolutely fantastic spot for dinner! I ordered the scallops and chicken, and they were delicious. I especially loved the extra garlic used to roast the rice—it added an amazing flavor!
