This lively dinner venue offers a lovely waterfront view. Many of the patrons nearby were ordering burgers, so perhaps we missed the boat on that. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp cocktail appetizer, stuffed lobster, and blackened mahi mahi. The portion sizes were just right, and the service was outstanding—our waitress provided great recommendations and checked in on us frequently during our meal. The parking was a bit limited, though.

Honestly, I had the worst experience at this restaurant. I can't believe it's still in business. The treatment of paying customers is unacceptable. Our waiter passed gas while taking our order, which ruined the entire atmosphere. It was truly unbelievable! The food was disappointing as well. Safe to say, I won't be coming back. The ambiance is stunning, situated right by the Navesink River, and the burgers are fantastic, along with incredibly fresh seafood. They don't accept reservations, so there's usually a wait, but it's definitely worth it. You can always grab a drink and take in the beautiful views while you wait.
On my day off on Sunday, I had a lovely experience at Barnacles Burger that made my brunch feel truly special. To finish it all off, I indulged in a warm baked brownie with cream. Can it get any better than that? I doubt it!
