Barrel - Reservar una mesa

This is the kind of restaurant/bar located on my alley. It is not a huge restaurant, but has a lot of seating, and this is specialized in South Inspired food, and has an excellent, but not a wide choice of whisky. The service is friendly and hospitable, and I would say the mood here is jovial. I came here with my cousin on his recommendation because we were looking for a place to drink. We sat at the bar and I wasn't super hungry, but I really wanted to try something. I think I ordered a pecan/banana pudding cake or something. The food itself looked amazing when I saw people order it, but I think we had already eaten dinner at that time. So Dessert should have done this. The main reason we wanted to go there was for the whisky. There is no great selection, but there is a very remarkable and it is also really good. But what I love in this place is that this is one of those places where you find it hard to get a bottle that is not too expensive. Sure, there can be a light charge, but nothing ridiculous. If you are creative or simple quality South food, and really good whisky at reasonable prices, this is a must to visit.

Delicious!!! We got the bottomless mimosas Amazing. Easily got our money's worth. Our waiter was great! He was helpful with suggestions and kept the bottles coming ! I got the breakfast burrito w/ carnitas, peppers, onion and egg. It was so good! The salsa it's served with wasn't too spicy, but also very good. I might've liked some queso or cheese with it but that's just me. I didn't get a picture of my burrito before I demolished it lol sorry My husband got the chicken and waffles I snuck some and it was great too. The chicken was so crispy and the waffles were fluffy! Our friends got the chicken biscuits and they were impressed too. I stole some of the homemade potato chips I wish I stole more. No complaints here.

Sit outside or in the pub food and enjoy a wide selection of drinks. The staff is friendly and attentive. Great little boutique restaurant, busy like crazy. Had a very limited menu, but the food was economical. We had our young son, but were very comfortable. The collection of Rye Whisky and local beers is a reason to visit. A good selection of beers and an amazing whisky menu. In my opinion, the old fashion was not overlooked.

The brussels sprouts are amazing here!! All food honest. Come on a whim with my friend and let's just say we went home and knocked out because the food was so bomb.

Low key night. Great selection of Bourbons and they do other great cocktails when Bourbon is not yours to go. Enjoy our conversations with the bartenders.
