I love Barrel Rye and regularly eat here, but hadn 't previously left a review. My sister (who has *severe*, life threatening tree nut allergies was in town and we were trying to figure out a good place to eat that could accommodate this (and ya know...not kill her . She 's also a vegetarian, so that limits things even further. We called ahead and spoke with Stacy, who ended up being our server as well. She was absolutely WONDERFUL. She checked and double checked that what was being prepared was safe for my sister to eat (even going as far as to read the labels of things not necessarily made in house the pasta to let us know it was made in a facility that processes tree nuts . Really enjoyed our recent lunch here with family. Weekday afternoon; patio was lovely and service was excellent. We tried two shareables: the Baked Brie and the Stuffed Mushrooms (6). Both were so delicious with subtle flavors that worked well together. Several tried the salads they are definitely a meal-size portion. Others in our group liked the Linguine Primavera and the Barrel Burger. All the food we had was so delicious and fresh. My only beef is that the menu doesn 't offer any sandwiches that are vegetarian. Even the grilled cheese contains meat. If they 'd add a vegetarian or vegan sandwich, they 'd be 5 stars across the board.

This would be a good place to get whiskey because it was a good place to get other stuff too but it’s known for whiskey cause of the name so that has to be the best part except that I wouldn’t know because I got the other good stuff so go try the whiskey and let me know.

Cocktails are always good..unique and made well! Our waitress was very friendly, I feel bad I forget her name. I think the appetizers are splendid. Got the Southern Chicken sandwich and no skimping for sure! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Liked the decorating, the lightening, ceiling tiles, food was great. Lesley was very friendly n saw to our needs, even though we moved to sit at a regular height table. I have a hard time getting up there, they only have 2 regular tables.

First time there and its super nice! The atphmosphere is so pretty and relaxing. The food was wonderful. I had the Birria grilled cheese and it was the best grilled cheese I have ever had. Small inside but definately worth a visit.
