Ordered a lamb souvlaki which was supposed to contain beef, red onion, rocket, dill, parsley, mint, tzatziki mustard mayo. I also ordered halloumi and paid for that. When it arrived it was lamb, three tiny pieces of lettuce and one strip of onion with a mayo sauce. No halloumi. A big pile of chips which had I known would be there I would have asked for a salad instead. It was very crowded, service was slow (which I forgive, it was busy) and I was in a hurry so didn’t get the chance to complain. Very noisy atmosphere which I guess is normal for a pub but the layout could be better for some dining where you can actually talk to friends. Disappointing overall. Thursday night and they had no redbull or energy drink available to mix with vodka, fine. Vodka lime soda- single shot served in a very tall glass, essentially just straight soda water. Second vodka lime soda ordered specifically in a short glass, was served vodka and lime Cordial with soda, still couldn't taste any vodka. Service seemed unenthusiastic and un interested. Okay, it's back! The B&B! Universal have taken over management, thank the heavens it has because the beloved pre-sports venue is back and building! Still has a bit to work on, but the menu, the staff and the sports are 5 stars. Still some restoration to go and upgrades where needed but otherwise a great local pub once again. We tried multiple beers and all tasted dreadful. The Furphys tasted soapy and the grifter just tasted off. The Byron Bay one tasted odd as well. They will need to do a good clean out of the pipes before I return. Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 Reserva una mesa ahora

We went on a Tuesday night. The steak offer is amazing value and the steak was one of the best pub steaks I've had. The staffwas super friendly, too. Recommended. Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great Sunday roast! Big serving, plenty of sauce, Yorkshire pud tastes perfect. Pub music was spot on singalong too. Surprised it wasn’t busier! Get in before news catches on.
