Rarely do I write a negative review, but our experience at Bavel was marginal at the most. It was a rainy night and We were seated on the patio next to a plastic curtain that had a gap that allowed the rain to sputter in we had at huddle together to avoid the rain. The patio seating felt like a dining hall with bad lighting, horrible acoustics. The music was way too loud. The server insisted that we have the sommelier choose a wine for us. He brought over three choices based on our preferred wine. We felt like the three choices were limited and his knowledge was limited. He decanted it in a jug with a very small mouth. The food was good.
Everything about Babel was absolutely amazing! A solid 11/10. If we could eat everything on the menu all at once, I’m sure there would be no disappointing dishes. The front of house staff were all amazing as well, they were super helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes, good pairings and were super attentive! This is definitely a place we’d come back to over and over and would 100% recommend to others! Thank you so so much for such a great time
Host in the front checking is very rude! Just don’t understand the guy, he works there and treating customers as if we are here to beg for a table. I spent $700 bucks to entertain my clients etc Clearly a brand arrogant….
Food was absolutely special, the service was spectacular, and the ambiance was so fun! They even catered to my gluten free needs without making me feel bad. Beyond special for date night with my husband.

Food was good and it’s a great restaurant. Everyone we visit LA, we dine with you. This time we noticed that with all the food served, there waas serving ware provided. We had ask for it everytime.
We celebrated my friends birthday and this place was perfect. The food was divine and every single member of the team was kinda mad attentive. Will definitely rely be back
It’s not what it use to be. We’ve been coming here for years and last night we decided we probably won’t be returning. It’s lost it’s spark.
Food and service were great, but the music was too loud and difficult to converse at the table.
