We have dined at this restaurant several times and it has become my favorite spot. We usually go for Sunday lunch, but have also enjoyed midweek lunches and dinners. The view overlooking the sea and the atmosphere are wonderful, and our friends who have joined us also agree. While the service was initially a bit slow, it has improved greatly and we now love it.
My mother and I had a very relaxed breakfast at the Bay Tree today. The food was excellent more than enough portion size) and the staff were very pleasant and efficient. Lee, front of house, was very entertaining and knowledgeable in the history of...Charles Dickens in Broadstairs. A very enjoyable experience and will look forward to an evening meal next time
Decided to come for breakfast as we were staying close by. It was a lovely breakfast but I was a bit disappointed at the lack of toast. We got one piece each had to ask for another piece however only I got one ..not my partner. Bread is hardly expensive- please be generous with the toast ! Otherwise all was lovely.
we've already eaten some paints here and it's my favorite place. we go mainly to Sunday dinner, but have the lunch and tee weeks in the middle. we love the view of the sea and the ambiente so do the friends we brought. when we started to go the service was a little slow, but now it is excellent- love it. I went to this restaurant for lunch with Travelzoo. The meal was fantastic and the ambiance was beautiful. I had the pleasure of meeting the chef, a charming young man. Wishing him all the best.
Very quiet in the evening we have dined there, which is hardly the management's fault, but there was something lacking in the atmosphere, regardless of the excellent food.
