Bayou Cajun Seafood, Po'boys Pho

My husband and I just arrived in Pensacola, and while searching for a house on the 8th, we decided it was time for lunch. We came across Bayou Cajun Seafood Po’boy and Pho, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! As soon as we entered, we were warmly welcomed by Cecilia (I might not have her name spelled correctly, but she was incredible!). I ordered the fried shrimp po’boy with extra seasoning, and my husband chose the fried shrimp plate, also with extra seasoning. Oh my gosh, it was absolutely wonderful! I even asked him this morning if we could return for lunch. We will definitely make this a regular stop during our four years in the area.

Don't miss the Bajo Cajun special, featuring shrimp, oysters, and two types of fish—either Wels or Tilapia. I chose the catfish while my friend went for the soft shell crab dish. The portions were plentiful, and I was surprised by the amount of food we got; I struggled to finish mine! Everything was cooked to perfection! The batter wasn't too salty, and our dishes weren't greasy, which is a common issue at many other fried food places. I highly recommend this!

This restaurant is quite popular, but it truly deserves even more acclaim. We initially found it through a delivery service and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. It left such a great impression on us that we decided to visit in person. What a delightful little Southern bistro! If you haven't tried it yet, you definitely should. If I could, I would give it six stars!

I have to tell you I have driven from fl to La just for a poyboy because I just couldn't find a poyboy quite like a Louisiana one, well I found it here!!! Amazing fresh bread, we had a roast beef and a shrimp poboy and they were both amazing!!! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu! The service was great food was fresh... The difference between a real po-boy and an imposter is all in the bread, and Bayou Cajun Seafood, Po 'boys, Pho really nails that authentic New Orleans poor boy bread. Had a great oyster po-boy today—the best I 've had in Pensacola in a very long time—and my companion thoroughly enjoyed her bisque as well. We 'll definitely be back!

This is a cozy restaurant, but the flavors, quality, and customer service are excellent! I’m really happy we decided to try it out! Everyone in our group of 14 was very satisfied with their choices. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Good place for Seafood. Staff is always super even when they have a full house. I will be back with my coworkers. This place has a nice design. This place has great reviews for a reason.

We had a to go order, all the po boys, grilled chicken, soft shell crab and the fried shrimp were great. I will say the PHO was the best ive had since i was overseas. I will be back. Reserva una mesa ahora

Wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about. Shrimp po boy was a little lighter on shrimp than I'd like for the price. Might have better luck with the gumbo next time.

Great food and great service, I recommend this to anyone with groups of any size. Definitely some of the best seafood around and at a great price!
