Beaches Bar & Grill

I have a fair amount of experience in the hospitality business and I honestly think it's ridiculous that this venue was to cut an act that was advertised all day short with no explanation for their customers, the artist said he was about to do his last set and then about 40 minutes later had to start packing up his equipment. Extremely disappointed that we have come to listen to good music and spend good money here just to have it stop early on a Friday night. I will not be coming back to Beaches at Airlie Beach again and I will not be suggesting this venue to anybody I know. Such a disappointment to see a good act cut off early on a Friday night.

At first glance you might look to go in search of other places on the strip but we have it a go, opting for the $15 meal deal which included a drink.It almost seemed to good to be true - given the environment which is a bit messy - but the Food was surprisingly good and the red wine was drinkable!The Spaghetti Bolognese and Burgers are to be recommended.The downside is the Tables don't get wiped down that often and the environment is a bit tatty but, it is what it is, and we can't really fault the value and quality of the Food.The live singer/guitarist when we went wasn't bad but struggled with the high notes!

I spent a cool evening in this bar, starting with good food for the money (They have a very cool menu where everyone is able to find something and the 15 Dollars meal-and-drink-deal is great). They had good special offers for drinks within the happy hour and I really liked the atmosphere with life music, billiards and the bar.

Easy going place, long tables, do it yourself type, you order at the counter, when food is ready you collect it yourself, like any fast food, but the food is better.Fixed price 15 Aud with one drink included, so good for tight budgets.You alSo have pools tables and live music at certain times.

We stopped here for a drink and a bite on a recent visit to the area. During the day the place is quite laid back, but at night it pumps to live bands and loud music.The food is typical pub fare but is tasty and well priced, and the beer is cold.

Great meals here. Well worth the $15.00 with a pot of beer for lunch or dinner. By far the best calamari I have ever had, all for $15.00. Fish and chips, palmys are great as well. All with a beer or soft drink for $15.00. Awesome meals.

$15 dinner and drink deal great for a cheap night! Food was value for money - nothing super fancy but it was good pub food. Staff very friendly Fun atmosphere, spent an hour or more playing pool listening to live music.

Wandering down the main drag through Airlie still 30 businesses closed since TC Debbie we stumbled across Beaches Bar

Beaches was badly damaged by Cyclone Debbie and should be torn down. My food was overcooked and tasteless
