I wish I was able to give no stars, this food establishment worked the Bellmore street fair today. My fiancé had $20 to purchase a $10 penne ala vodka. He received the penne ala vodka and paid them $10. He then saw ginger ale and asked to purchase it. They said it was $13, he’s confused as he already paid for the pasta dish and they claim that he didn’t and wouldn’t let him leave until he paid the $13. I advised the employee I’d like to speak with a manger regarding the situation and they refused and when I tried to explain how they were wrong they just walked away. They STOLE MY FIANCÉ’s money. I ordered a menu item from the website when it was delivered, it was not at all what I had ordered, so I called them to let them know that I received the wrong order. they then told me that the sandwich I requested was no longer on the menu. the person who took my order did not say anything about it. here is the kicker they don't offer to send me a new sandwich of something I actually want, nor was I offered a refund for $14. very dissatisfied and disappointed to say that at least.
I'll keep it brief! The bagels were fresh and delicious, the staff was great, and the business was impressive. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow in attending to customers. No offense intended! It just needs to be a bit quicker. There were only a few customers in the shop when I was there, but it still took 15 minutes to get a half dozen roasted bagels. Not sure why? Overall, the staff was great and the restaurant was clean.
I have found my new favorite spot! Bedford Ave Deli is excellent. The food, the owner, and the staff are all incredibly friendly. The food is always outstanding and perfectly made. I live in South Wantagh and frequently order delivery or dine in at this restaurant. I highly recommend Bedford Ave Deli. Thank you!

Great hot food. Chicken cutlets consistently fresh which is why i keep coming back. The only negative is the coffee is not very good and i wish they would do something about that.
This restaurant is excellent. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and the prices are affordable. They make a delicious bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich.
Hands-down the BEST DELI in Bellmore the freshest food and all of the guys who work there are so friendly and nice...A Definite Recommend
we have gone to hectors for years, eating is always great and fair prices. they also make big sandwiches for parties.
