Having enjoyed a trip on the Settle to Carlisle railway, we were looking forward to a light lunch in Carlisle. The city centre was quite busy and so we decided to find somewhere on the city boundary. Having googled 'best pubs in Carlisle ', the Beehive was listed and so we enjoyed a 15 minute walk to the pub. Once there, we were not disappointed the landlady was really welcoming and it was a joy to have a decent pint of IPA up north! Fish and chip lunch followed just what we needed. The bar area is a good size with plenty of tables and the service was very efficient. A good pub to visit thank you!
My partner and I attended unplanned, realised this was a Greeneking pub so expectations were high as I'm a KM for GK in Manchester. We weren't disappointed, great piping hot food, looked amazing and tasted sensational, great seasoning. My mixed grill was vibrant, well presented with a perfectly cooked rump steak, my partner Michelle enjoyed her Scampi and commented on the generous portion. Well done Beehive, cracking.
just returned from a overnight stay in Carlisle, the Beehive is our local pub and once again we where made to feel so welcome. The staff are so friendly, the food is fantastic and we have never had a bad time there. Even had a game of Rock and Roll bingo and can`t believe it was so addictive. Many thanks to Chris and all the staff see you all in November
Great to find this hostelry close to where we were staying in Carlisle. Friendly place, welcoming staff and an excellent meal. Serving staff taking the time to ask if everything was OK and if there was anything else needed. Good to see that as it doesn't always happen in other places. Nice open plan bar, clean and tidy. Monday lunch with a very good friend in this wonderful pub. I walked in said hello and was so pleased to see Kirsty when entering.My pint of Greene King IPA was pulled and waiting by the time I got to the bar she really is an absolute asset to Greene King. I’ve said this before but you really must visit this special special pub PA
Came with my partner for the charity quiz and for a bite to eat. The Katsu chicken was amazing and there was more than enough food. His gammon looked tasty as well. Few drinks which were provided promptly and all the staff were lovely and cheerful. Will definitely be going again!
We celebrated my 70th birthday at the Beehive. Our group of 18 aged from 3 to 76 and we all had a great time and really enjoyed the food. The staff were friendly and efficient and all our meals arrived more, or less together and hot. Brilliant and great value. Reserva una mesa ahora
