The food arrived in inadequate paper containers that failed to withstand the heat and weight of the dishes, resulting in everything becoming mixed together and a complete mess. It was clear that whoever packed the orders did not take the proper precautions for takeout. When I attempted to reach out to the restaurant about the issue, the response was far from satisfactory. The employee I spoke with deflected responsibility, saying they weren’t involved with packing the food. I was then transferred to another staff member, who provided a canned apology before abruptly hanging up without addressing my concerns or offering any solutions. The whole interaction felt extremely unprofessional. I s...

Beijing Sung is one of the few hybrid Korean-Chinese restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area. However, the food leans more towards Korean tastes rather than authentic Chinese cuisine. Upon entering, I noticed that most of the patrons were Korean, and the server greeted me in Korean by default. The menu is primarily in Korean, and even the English version features romanizations of the Korean names instead of actual translations, making it challenging for those unfamiliar with the language to know what they are ordering. We ended up relying on photos or sticking to classic dishes like Jjajangmyeon and Jjamppong that we were familiar with. I've visited twice, and both times the food has been de...

My sister recommended we visit Beijing Sung for their Korean-Chinese fusion cuisine, and I was eager to try their black bean noodles and sweet and spicy fried chicken. We ordered the family jjajang (for two), which featured noodles in black bean sauce with seafood. The dish had a generous amount of sauce, and while the noodles were tasty, they didn't stand out as particularly special compared to other jajangmyeon I've had in the past. I also sampled the rajoki bap, which consisted of rice topped with fried chicken thighs in a sweet and spicy sour sauce. It was delicious! The sauce was a bit on the thick side, but it was packed with flavor. I really enjoyed the dried chilies they included, as...

Rating: 3.7 stars The staff's service is decent, depending on how busy or quiet the restaurant is. The place is reasonably clean. The mussel seafood jjampong is delightfully spicy, while the jajang myeon (Korean black bean sauce noodles) may not look appealing, but they taste great! There are various types of ingredients in both jjampong and jajang myeon across Korea. We also had the Yuringi chicken fried, which is chewy and served with vegetables tossed in a light soy sauce. The Tangsuyuk pork is crispy and comes with a Korean-Chinese style sweet and sour sauce. Lastly, the Yangjangpi features shrimp, squid, veggies, and noodles drizzled with a spicy mustard sauce. We went to this restaurant as a group of four, and we had an amazing time. The service was friendly and welcoming, with staff who helped us choose our meals. The dishes we tried were unique Korean-Chinese creations, offering a fascinating blend of flavors. We ordered the jajang and spicy pork, both of which were not only delicious but also served in generous portions. Each dish was packed with flavor, showcasing the fusion of the two cuisines. Overall, with excellent service and a distinctive mix of tastes that create an outstanding dining experience, I highly recommend this place—it's definitely worth a visit, and we will be back for more!

I visited this restaurant simply because it was nearby and we were feeling hungry. It was quite a nice surprise to see how busy it was, even at 4 PM. The restaurant is fairly spacious, and after trying the food, I understood why it was so popular—the dishes were delicious and reasonably priced. It's definitely a nice spot to consider if you find yourself in the area.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! Be prepared to wait in line on weekends, but it's definitely worth it. I love their seafood noodles and fried chicken. It's conveniently located near York University with easy access to the TTC. The flavors of the Korean dishes are fantastic. I hope they consider opening more locations!

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and was impressed by its spacious and clean atmosphere. We ordered kampoongki, yu ring ki, jajangmyun, and champong. Overall, most of the dishes were a solid 10/10; however, we thought the jajangmyun could use some improvement. I will definitely be coming back! Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was excellent and the servers were very friendly. I really enjoy Korean-Chinese cuisine. The portions are generous, too. If I need to bring my Canadian friend, I will definitely come back here.
