Attended the Belgium Beer Cafe in October 2018. I ordered the 250g Scotch fillet Steak with frites, side salads and a Hoegaarden Beer. The steak was cooked medium rare and the frites were nice and crispy. I will say that they gave me a bit too much salad but thats just my opinion. It is all an added welcome and adds to the fullness of the dish. The Hoegaarden Beer was great tasting and fresh. Service is great and prices are average for any steak in the CBD. Added bonus is the ATM machine that sits inside the cafe.
Very crowded when we called in for a casual meal after the movies. Despite the busy atmosphere the food came out super fast: s&p calamari, Belgian frites and the pasta of the day. All delicious. Lots of German beers on tap and specials like $15 steaks on Thursdays. The main front room was very hot, no air con only ceiling fans, but out the back and in the separate back bar it was cooler.
came here on a Monday night, not the whole house, but many more people. the service and the atmosphere were fantastic. we recommend the pork bell, pork, crispy salmon and chicken parmy. calamari was made very good, but only a little too salty for my lust. the lamb cut was well marinated, but a little bit to carburize. the 1kg hickory bbq sauce chicken wings were good.
loved the fact that she had 2 different mush pots in the offer. the tomota and chili basic ordered. the accidentally brought the cream-based por, but after notification quickly the situation that was very appreciated. the risotto court has quite dirty but the roo, but cooked to perfection!

The Belgian Beer Cafe has been a fixture on Perth’s pub scene since the early 2000s and has been a favourite haunt of ours since then. Walk inside and things are pretty much the same as they’ve ever been.
came for the frites which is what they used to do best. we got whatever this was. and it was definitely NOT frites! they were thick-cut, soggy, stumpy, and cold what a waste of $9. won’t ever be back.
Good atmosphere for an after work bite to eat. Nice variety of beer- ranging from local craft to imports. Enjoyed the platters to share excellent sausage and bread combos.
I've been sitting here with a friend. booked by the forks and get 50% of the food that was fantastic. I had the lamb that was one of the specials of the day.

Surprisingly tasty food late on a Saturday evening. My friend had the steak sandwich and raved about it too. Service was quick and efficient.
