We've been going to Bella's for years for the pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. I used to make do with the usual vegan fare of pasta marinara or cheeseless pizza (which are great), but a little over a year ago they added the vegan menu and so many more options. Their vegan chick'n parm is my favorite dish in Tampa. The creamy, rich Beyond Sal Al is hearty and very delicious. And of course the pizzas can now be ordered with cheese and sausage.
one of my favorite spots in tampa. bellas is a great place for the whole family, veg or not. the owner's sohn is vegan so that they recently introduced a complete vegan menu with 2 pizzas and 5 or so pasta dishes. And the pasta dishes are not their typical spaghetti with red sauce they find putting on others. there are so many unique options. I tried everything, and even though everything is good, beyond sal al is the best.
the best part in this place is that they can get something more than just pasta in the Marinara sauce, to which many other traditional Italian restaurants are limited. they make a vegan version of their best seller with vegan cheese and moreover sausage and it is amazing! there is a whole vegan section on your menu.
we went to this place while visiting and had a great time. it has a fantastic atmosphere, great drinks and a vegan friendly staff. my friend and I got that beyond sal al, which was phenomenal, as well as the matteo chicken we were not so fan of us. try their vegan pizza or chicken parm next time. Very good restaurant, service and food. It became my favorite Italian food restaurant, indeed. I recommend it widely.
