Customer service is lacking, and while I want to support every Black-owned business, I feel like the quality has significantly declined since the original staff left. They really need to invest in safety training; washing hands should be a basic requirement, not just putting on gloves. It’s especially off-putting that the smell of smoke greets you before the staff themselves do. I will not be returning.
I was introduced to the Sweets Shop by a coworker who recommended the Italian beef, and I haven't stopped going there since. Their freshly made snack food is made to order, and you have to trust me on this... the Jerk Shrimp Nachos! It's not on the menu, but they'll whip it up for you, and it's absolutely amazing.
Staff always friendly food always made to order. Good for quick bite to eat. I can get some of the old school candy I grew up on there. Service does take a long time
