Bender's Brat Haus

The brats I got were very dry and rubbery. That 's simply not how they should be, so I definitely won 't be going back. The flavor wasn 't any better than what you might find at a festival or carnival. It 's as if someone took a really bad food cart and turned it into a brick and mortar store, then added some sides to their offerings. The condiments were good. I suppose that 's worthy of the second star... good condiments. And why not, I 'll also throw in that parking wasn 't bad and employees were not rude. I really wanted to like this place, especially after reading other reviews. I simply don 't understand how my experience could have been so different. I don 't accept the caught them on...

After hearing the hype for yeeears, I finally made my way to Benders Brat Haus. When I stopped in it was about three o'clock (they close at four) and I was one of just three patrons. I chose to nosh on the Bratwurst sandwich with warm German potato salad. It was simple and filling. The bun was lighter (and tastier) than I expected. The warm German potato salad was good, but I don't think it was for me. Def a no frills kinda place. The one staff member I interacted with was nice, asked if I was wanting sauerkraut, and brought my food out to my table. Can't really ask for more. Probably won't be one of my go to restaurants, but when I'm craving some no frills brats, I'll keep it in mind.

Excellent home spun German sausage spot that has been in business for almost 50 years. Guy Fieti should run to this place and film, it 's that darn good. My buddy got the half Italian half Brat that looked like the winner at our table. Food is fresh, family is kind. This is a go to spot for anyone who knows in Aurora.

I have been enjoying Benders brats for many years, it is consistently good, the bun they use is so delicious and of course the brats are grilled to perfection. Love the kraut burger too. I fully support family owned businesses and will continue too They have a friendly crew and customers too! Thank you

It was a really cool experience. However sadly their last day in business was August 31, 2022. They had a large grill filled with brats and they were really good
