I had previously given this restaurant a positive review and recommended it to others. However, after a recent incident where we ordered online and the owner claimed we had abused their delivery driver, despite us denying it, we were told they couldn't deliver to us. We suspect this may be due to my partner's ex working there as a driver, but the owner insisted it was because of the alleged abuse. We were offered to collect the food instead. This situation has left me disappointed as I have never written a negative review for a small business before. I am still waiting for a refund for the online payment. I anticipate they may respond with lies, but I stand by the truth of my experience.
This is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to! My friends and I travel down from Sheffield 2 or 3 times a year just to visit and eat here. The food is consistently fabulous and the staff are amazing. They are always attentive and go above and beyond to make sure we have a great dining experience. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Biryani (my personal favorite) and the delicious Onion Bhajis.
We have become regular visitors to the Bengal Spice of Thrapston (not to be confused with one of the same name both as a couple and with family including our grandchildren who love the place. They have an excellent menu to chose with a full spectrum from mild to mighty hot and all beautifully serviced up with helpful and friendly staff. They have a well stocked bar with beer on draught.
We were visiting friends and ordered a takeaway on their app. It was deleivered promptly by a smartly dressed waiter and the food was excellent. Different dishes to the normal and all spicy without burning the roof off your mouth. Wish they were neared our home as we would definitley use regularly and visit the restaurant. Recommended.

Don't bother. We really like the food from here. But EVERY SINGLE TIME they muck up the order, and we either pay for things we don't get or we have to wait an extra 40 mins for them to recook the food after they give what we have paid for to someone else. Will not be going back here.
My friend and I always choose this restaurant as our go-to place. We can always count on delicious food and attentive service. Even though my friend is a vegetarian, they are more than willing to accommodate by providing vegetarian options for any dish.
We always come here for a meal when visiting the area. Service and food are excellent. The menu is extensive and there a lots of dishes you won’t find on other Indian restaurant menus. Reasonably priced. His Lordship rewards you with 5 stars
Nice food. Good choice and not too expensive. However, did feel rushed and things were taken away from the table at the end when we wasn’t quite finished. I’d certainly go again to try, and the waiters were polite. Try it….see if I’m wrong

I spend now at least once a month with business associates and there is never any complaints . i think i might have nearly completed the menu now and my favourite is the Gurkas revenge . the kids also loved it when we visited at Christmas
Been a few times and also used their delivery service twice. The food is always spot on and the service could not better. One of the best Indians I’ve ever been to
