First time ordering from this place. Had high expectations from the reviews but was sadly disappointed with the food. We had a chicken biriyani, chicken korma and chicken tikka. Each dish the chicken was very overcooked and dry, was not edible. Also I had ordered a peshwari naan and got a plain instead. Staff seemed friendly enough and chucked us in some poppadoms but sadly will not be ordering again.
I have been visiting this curry restaurant with my family since I was 10 years old! While most kids were having McDonald's parties, all I wanted was to dine at this restaurant. Even after 23 years, it remains my favorite curry spot. Despite moving to Essex, I make the drive to collect their delicious food. The dishes are expertly cooked, reasonably priced, and the service is top-notch.
Have tried to give them the benefit when they’ve said that they’ve been busy, BUT order for a fourth time now and every time it has been at least an hour wait literally. This time was close to two hours for a warm meal not even hot. Do not recommend ordering a takeaway as other reviews had had the same problem.
