I went to this small, friendly restaurant last night with my wife. The staff were amazingly caring and helpful, and couldn't do enough to make it a highly enjoyable visit.Whist we looked at the menu, we had the special popadoms which were freshly prepared and a great selection of chutneys, pickles etc. We can highly recommend the onion in a red sauce (probably has a complex name). The sauce is complex in flavour we finished the pot! My wife doesn't like raw onion but she was eating this more than anything!We both started with prawn puri which was very tasty with a wonderful crisp yet fluffy and light puri.We then had chicken pathia, and a Jewel in the Crown. Went for a meal here with someone I work with. Knowing that I love curry, she suggested this place. As we parked outside, I couldn't help notice that this place looked so modern and as far away from a trad' curry house that you could get Not a bad thing, because when we entered I was impressed by the decor. All clean lines and many fish tanks built into various areas in the restaurant, even the floor. The ambience was a nice mix of lively chat and relaxed enjoyment. Always a First choice for when I feel like an Indian meal, friendly staff and often they throw in a free Cobra beer as part of the meal
