The entire experience was horrible. The food had no taste. The Chef was old, slow, unentertaining, and from the mask and the constant coughing, I going to say sick. Who wants someone coughing and cooking for them. He was cooking so slow by the time we got all our food plated, it was cold. I hate that I recommended this place to my family because I had to hear them complain all the way home. We live almost an hour away! To add insult to injury, you want to charge almost a dollar for YUM YUM sauce! We were there for a birthday celebration with family, but we will never go back or recommend to anyone. We spent over 400.00 dollars for this mess. The order taker was great and the drinks were too.
Had dinner for my birthday and everything was great except I ordered the filet and shrimp and there was a mixup at the table and another diner got my filet and I got her NY Strip. The price was adjusted and everything was cooked properly. Overall, it was a minor hiccup. Also I requested to not have them sing happy birthday but I guess there's no escaping it at Benihana. I'll definitely return as it is always a great meal.
Server, waitstaff and chef were fantastic! I wish you didn't have to sit with other people you don't know, the two women our family of 5 sat with did not have the same energy as us so it was a little awkward. They both were very unamused and had frowns on the entire time, while we were laughing, joking and clapping with the chef.
I was called only 15 minutes before our reservation and told they had to cancel it. It was an hour drive for my family and I so this was a problem. When we arrived there (because I was notified from them so late) we witnessed a huge protest regarding unfair treatment of their employees. The whole thing was awful!

We got the restaurant for our 7PM reservation and it was closed because workers were on strike. We ended up at another restaurant and the people also had a reservation at 5:15 at Benihana and the strike was already in progress. So we did not actually eat at Benihana. In the past it has always been good.....
Had a 6 pm reservation. It was an hour before I was seated and a waiter took our order. The hibachi vent was broken and the smoke was blowing in my face. This place has never been remodeled. Next time you are there look up at the ceiling. It is so dirty and gross. It hard to enjoy a meal after seeing that.
The entire experience was horrible. The food was bland. The service was less than subpar. The people were particularly rude. I went for me and my daughter's birthday, but I will never go back. We ended up going to chick-fil-a after leaving. I would never recommend going to this particular location.
Bathroom, dining floor, and hoods above cooking surfaces very dirty. You can see the grease dripping on all the outside of the hoods above cooking surface dripping with grease. Bathrooms filthy. Lots of food all over floors around seating.

Can't give a rating for this reservation due to the fact the restaurant called an hour before cancelling my reservations that we were already on our way too. They didn't offer and compensation or anything for the inconvenience
