Mediterranean salad was NOT good, tomato?s and cucumbers tasted bland not fresh!! You could get a better quality pre-made at a grocery store. When telling one of the workers I didn?t really like the salad he replied with ?weird, I haven?t heard that before? and was very intimidating and passive aggressive. Loved coming to Bennies, it was my first time and definitely won?t be my last. It?s BYOB and there?s a store next door that sells alcohol incase you forgot to bring. The food here is excellent and a great portion! I highly recommend the platter where you can choose 3-4 appetizers and one shish, it?s a great deal and allows you to try many different things! I am not even a big Mediterranean food fan, but when I discovered Bennies I was HOOKED. When think about their food my mouth waters I'm not even kidding you. . It is fresh, the service is wonderful and the flavors are just out of this world. I am not one to rush and review for no reason , because it takes time effort but for places a good as this, I don't even hesitate. My husband and I were in the area and I was in the mood for Falafel. We bumped into this place and it was the sweetest surprise. The place is a true gem. The food is Vegan friendly, fresh and delicious. We had the pleasure of meeting Bennie the owner and we chopped it up for a little bit. This place is great and I will definitely be coming back. Been coming to Bennies for about a decade now. Best babaganoush I've ever had my family loved it and would order the catering size container and still that wasn't enough for us 4. Great Mediterranean food must try. The humus is great maybe on the dry side and the chicken was flavorful and very tender. The salad is large and tasty has good amount of sumac. Must try and enjoy.
