I recently attended a 50th birthday party at Ben's Crab, and it was truly an unforgettable event! As someone who is primarily vegetarian, I was initially a bit hesitant, but I found myself excited to indulge in some French fries, chicken, and shrimp. The party had a blue-themed decor to celebrate the milestone, and the atmosphere was electric.
Although the bar area was quite crowded with no seating available, the reasonable prices for cocktails and the delicious food made the wait worthwhile. What stood out the most was the owner, Jason, who exemplified warm hospitality by taking the time to greet each guest personally, snap photos, and ensure that everyone felt comfortable and welcome.

We started with appetizers of chicken and calamari with dipping sauces, which were quite good. We also ordered the Rum Punch, and it was simply the best! I've tried rum punch from various places, but the one at Ben's Crab is truly perfected—strong, well-blended, smooth, and absolutely delicious.
For our main courses, we enjoyed salmon, a garden salad, and shrimp pasta, all of which were fantastic. The only downside was that they wouldn't let me take home the rum jar; they wouldn’t even sell it to me! They actually called me back inside and provided a plastic container that had a bit of a crab theme to it, which I appreciated even if it felt a bit silly.

The shrimp is seasoned to perfection and retains a delightful crispiness. The French fries also stay wonderfully crispy. The mussels are absolutely fantastic. The lobster cajun pasta is delicious, though it could use a bit more lobster.
The atmosphere here is fantastic. The music is excellent, and the drinks pack a real punch. The seafood boil is delicious, with a thick and flavorful sauce that enhances the dish perfectly.

I tried the Fried Shrimp Basket (10) for the first time, and it wasn't really to my liking. The shrimp were fried a bit too hard for my taste. However, I still love Ben's!

The lobster in the sandwich was small, and the bread became quite soggy. However, the garlic wings were really good!
