These jokers would be better off installing coin-operated self service machines in their building and only dropping by at night to collect their money and refill the machines, compared to standing behind the counters with pained expressions and minimal communication skills. The bad reviews you...read on this place are all true, have no doubt. Seriously, owner-folks, consider getting into another line of business that doesn't involve interacting with people, because you really are deficient at it.

A wonderful place to take your family...hike up or take an minute Bahn (lift) ride up...you will be met with views that look like those puzzles we all did as children. You will be met by very friendly proprietors who will make sure you...are well fed! Enjoy the view and take many photos...from here you can hike down the way you can, take the Bahn back down or hike down through the Partnachklamm Gorge...a total of about a bit more than an hour hike downhill.

we took the eckbauerbahn on the mountain to finally slip to the nightclub and thought here as a cup of coffee and hot tee to get us away. the terrace has a panoramic view of the mountain and it was quite busy. the morning we were there. in the interior is a very Bavarian atmosphere and the intention of the windows when they sat would be just as wonderful. the food is served cafeteria style that takes us a second to find out.

A fantastic sight viewing the mountain ranges. The restaurant is in the best spot to have function as a stopover and feed the hungry tourists. Great refreshing and amazing view of the mountain yonder. The restaurant was trying to accommodate all the diners and maybe...they have less manpower so the service was not well appreciated. We visited Berggasthof Eckbauer while we were on the way down to Partnachklamm. We ordered some drinks and enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountains. It was fantastic and we enjoyed ourself very much. Wonderful place relax and have a cold beer. Highly recommended. The...owners are friendly too!

Do not believe the „kein Trinkwasser“ (not drinking water) sign on the wash basin in the toilets. They just want to fill your bottle up from the tap in the restaurant and charge you for it. The water from the taps there is the...same as they use in the kitchen. Use it and drink it!

after a long walk they are much too exhausted to argue with strangers, so this is a bad choice if they are not a fan of arguments with the workers there. hopefully they learn to treat customers better.

Hiked here from Garmisch in SEP; great food and spectacular views and scenery in to Austria. The bahn down the mountain was good way to give tired legs a break. Reserva una mesa ahora

I've migrated from the grazeck. the eckbauer restaurant was not open, but I enjoyed fresh buttermilk from the stand, which also sold beer.

except that it's not here. the people working here are not helpful at all. the suppe was also terrible!
