Found the store by chance, unfortunately 5 min before evening : The boss met outside, still super nicely greeted and spontaneously we promised to visit another day: . Today the first visit and the good impression has more than confirmed, the cake chocolate with berries of the hammer and I as a cake muffle a flame cake with apple and cinnamon, boa... unbeatable!!! Soooo delicious!!! So who wants to experience a really good place in Garmisch, nix as well, it's worth it!

This cute, little and clean bistro is owned and run by a very friendly owner. Everything is homemade. It is located in a quiet part of Garmisch and it has a nice view over the Brunnen in the plaza as well as the Garmisch church. You can have breakfast, lunch and coffee with cake here. His chocolate cake is divine! The different varieties of Flammkuchen are also delicious! Be sure to try out the Goulash Suppe, which is not mentioned on the menu.

After some operator changes, the small location is called Café Max Location: right next to Lamm Kino Breakfast for long sleepers (open on Sundays!! modern furnishing super-weather boss, Hannes Kleißl, his character confectioner master....... and that's what's going on? Flamecake, egg dishes (stirdles, omelettes and no one gets thursed here....

The bubbly, personable owner of this cafe bistro is also the server. He speaks German and English and is a cake expert. His cakes are a feast for all the senses and they can be made to order as well! Just great. In Coffee Max everything is fresh and made with so much love. Here you have to take some time, but that's worth it. I've been here a lot of breakfasts, and it's always great. Really recommended!

We were referred to this coffee bar/mini bistro by a store owner in Garmisch after we asked for a nice place to get a coffee. The coffee was good but the cakes were heavenly!
