During our visit to Chicago, my wife and I were thrilled to watch our SF Giants play against the Cubs at Wrigley Field. We were looking for a place to grab a few drinks before the game that wasn't a typical corporate bar. Bernie's caught our eye with its unique character, so we decided to check it out. Despite being a bit busy, we managed to snag two seats at the bar and quickly struck up a conversation with some friendly Cubs fans. The bartender was a bit reserved at first, but eventually warmed up to us and even offered us some tequila shots. I would definitely return to Bernie's - it's a fantastic spot to grab a drink before a baseball game!
The tequila shots are quite mediocre at $10 each. Right from the start, Maddie the Menace will pressure you to buy her one, which really throws off the bartending vibe. It’s fine to take a shot after I've had a few, but not on the first one, haha. After spending $45 on two rounds for my friend and me, including a service fee, we decided to leave. I suppose that's just how it is in Wrigleyville.
Not just a pre and post Cubs game bar. Bernie’s has a great updated interior and a pretty nice patio. Plus Maddie our bartender was super friendly even though she was pretty busy. Wings were really good

After a Cubs win, I am sitting here at a restaurant with a decent amount of seating. It may not be my top pick for a bar on Clark Street, but just so you know, my dog's name is Bernie.
This is a great spot to grab a drink before or after a Cubs game. I enjoyed the open-air atmosphere on the second floor, especially when seated at a table near the window.
Was racially profiled and turned away because the bouncer didn’t like my “attitude” and the manager was very confrontational as well. 0/10
The appetizers were reasonably priced and delicious, and the bartender was fantastic. The sliders were amazing! #Bravo

We Adore Maddie she is phenomenal and one of the best at her craft!!!!We will never ever forget you!!
The burgers are delicious, the atmosphere is fun, and the server is very enthusiastic.
